It's been a while. Yes, yes I know. I'm still alive (barely). And I haven't forgotten I have a blog. This semester has been SO crazy! So many things to do & not enough time.
School, internship, work, working out/ staying healthy, planning a wedding all by myself, parents not being able to get a visa to be here for my wedding etc. I mean what else can possibly be added to that list to make it more challenging?! *sigh*
However I must add that I'm so blessed to have the people I have in my life: great family & friends that love and support both Auston and I. These people have helped me get through some hard times. For that reason I decided to blog about how blessed I am to have true friends in the States, since most of the help I've received recently is from them; dress shopping, dress alterations, veil shopping etc. Let me say that we have the best and most supportive parents, however unfortunately they aren't able to be here for every single thing for the wedding planning even though they want to help as much as they can. Mine are in Europe and Auston's are in L.A. Same with some of my other best friends-- they're everywhere in Europe or other States.
Anyway, backkk to the true friends & blessings subject. Going through stressful, overwhelming and hard times (I'm not talking about dramatic things, just hard times that everyone goes through) has made me realize who actually cares about me, and who my true friends are. I'm not talking about the casual friends you go to the movies or to go grab fro- yo with. I'm talking about the ones that would do anything, absolutely anything to help you and see you smile. And just because they're great people & amazing friends.
So I want to say A HUGEEE thank you to everyone that's been helping me lately, especially with the wedding. And a even more special thank you, to my true friends, I'll mention the ones that have gone the extra mile just to see me happy, and not stressed. The ones that don't ever make an excuse to help you when you ask for help-- actually the ones that offer to help without you personally asking them! The golden friends.
Friend #1: Thank you for the advice on wedding planning, free photography & love and support. I really appreciate your help and that every time I ask for help for pretty much anything you do your best to help & actually help me! I know I can count on you! You seriously know everything and everyone! And always use your connections to help everyone you can. Your advice and recommendations have been the best & sooo useful! Grateful for all you've done/do & I love ya pretty lady!
Friend #2: Thank you for the love, hugs & smiles you're constantly giving me. I really appreciate you making time for me even in your busiest days (especially now with finals and such) to go to all my dress alterations "trips", veil shopping and get yourself involved in planning my wedding just so you can help and see me smile. I've known you for years now and I've NEVER been disappointed or hurt by you. Such a sweetheart and I love you ! P.S. That hug last week at the dress lady meant the world to me! <3
Friend #3: Remember that evening that we were texting & I told you I was so overwhelmed by this wedding stuff, none of my bridesmaids were actually helping me (since 75% are not in Utah) and wished my mom was here to help? Oh and that I was crying like crazy? Yah, you actually CALLED right away (since you were in another city visiting your cute bf) and talked to me until I felt better about my wedding planning. You actually made me list things that were stressing me out the most, and came up with solutions for every single one of them. All of a sudden I wasn't so stressed anymore. You got some mad skills my friend! ;) You're the perfect, most handsome gay best friend every girl needs to have. Love yaa!
So ladies and gentlemen (if there are any reading this), this was it for today!
I'm off to take my last take home final-- which I know I'll ace because that's what I do! :P haha
Good luck on finals everyone!
And thank you for stopping by. :)
